It is said that people’s two greatest fears in life are public speaking & death.

Not mine.

I experience both of these in my professional life.

Guest speaking is something in which I take great delight.  Having been doing public speaking in a variety of forms for over 30 years, you can be assured that I am an experienced public speaker with a mission to inspire, motivate, uplift & sometimes challenge my audiences.

It is through having conversations around the process of dying, death and grief that we can start to make it easier on ourselves – and it is certainly a tough enough experience.

In terms of speaking experience, I have spoken at events, expos, workshops and conferences with audience sizes from 4 to 300 and I can engage with your audience from 15 minutes up to 2 hours.  I am available for community groups through to professional, industry specific conferences.

While I am based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, I am open to travel for speaking engagements.

Topics covered include, but are not limited to :

~ How to Avoid Regret in Grief

~ Advance Care Planning

~ Designing Your Own Death ~ Pre-Planning Your End Journey

~ Resilience for Health and Care Professionals

~ Navigating Your Loved One’s End Journey

~ Being Present in the End of Life Care Environment

~ Living a Passionate and Meaningful/Meaning-filled live…with Depression

~ How Being Different Is A Gift

~ Undergoing a Double Preventative Mastectomy With Immediate Reconstruction

~ How I Empowered Myself To Create a Life of Peace, Contentment & Happiness

I first met Sharon not long after she had undergone her double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery and was sharing her story through her book ‘Accepting with Grace’. Every time I heard her deliver her story I was moved by her openness and honesty and her passion and desire to make a difference to those facing a similar life-changing decision.
I have come to know Sharon to be one of the most authentic and real people with a message that truly comes from the heart. Her journey through many challenges to find her life’s purpose has been a joy to witness and I have no doubt that you will be truly blessed if you have the privilege to work with her.

You were confident, articulate, warm, inspiring, funny, interesting & came across as greatly relaxed & approachable… it was like you had invited a massive group around for a cup of tea & we all sat in engaged silence as you told an amazing story.
